I. Acid and Alkali Resistance
Alkali Resistance: At room temperature, it is almost completely resistant to both concentrated and dilute alkalis; it does not swell or degrade, and its strength does not decrease significantly, making it suitable for strong alkali environments.
Acid Resistance: Resistant to dilute and moderately concentrated acids at room temperature; only concentrated, strongly oxidizing acids (such as concentrated nitric acid and concentrated sulfuric acid) will gradually corrode the fiber under high-temperature conditions, while common organic acids and dilute sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid have virtually no effect.
II. Resistance to Other Chemicals
Salt Solutions, Seawater, and Brine: Resists corrosion and mold growth even after prolonged immersion, making it highly suitable for fisheries, marine environments, and geotechnical engineering.
Common organic solvents (alcohols, ketones, gasoline, oils, etc.): Stable at room temperature; only some aromatic hydrocarbons and halogenated hydrocarbons cause slight swelling, but do not damage the fiber structure.
Mold, bacteria, and insect damage: Completely resistant; offers a long service life in outdoor, underground, and humid environments.
